there was ironing facitities close by

the customer lifts did not work and we hasd to use the staff lift which were horrible and took ages. The hotel room seemed damp and old fashioned. it looked like it need a thorough reburbishing.

The breakfast was good value for money, and the location was really good

The room a "suite" was a disgrace, none of the lifts worked so we had to
use the service lift, that took hours to arrive and sounded like it was
about to pack in at any minute.

staff in bar and restaurant were very helpful especially in the evenings. I don't eat much and like simple food like a sandwich and had no problem getting exactly what i wanted.

Reasonable rates

Smelly, paticularly of smoke! Bottle of wine as promised in the offer was nowhere to be seen. Was not informed prior to arrival that there would be an additional charge for the spa facilities!

Good value for money, well situated from the train station, allowed early check-in without fuss. Good quality bathroom facilities.

On arrival the lift wasn't working so the service lift had to be used. Shortly afterwards this broke, so for almost all of our stay it was the stairs only - we were on the 6th floor! Some facilities in the room were tired/needed attention.

The reception staff were excellent.

The water works, all bathroom utilities had ware issues, flow, temp', not working!!

the staff moved me to another room without any hesitation

yes, the room i was staying in there was loud noise/musixc playing from the club nearby, possible sound proof rooms, also noisy guests in rooms next door
